FIRST AID AT WORK (FAW) SYLLABUS
This is the advanced/comprehensive 3 day 'face to face' First Aid at Work course with the syllabus set down by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This is a nationally and accredited Level 3 course and is valid for 3 years. Just prior to the expiry date, you can sit the 2 day Requalification course (FAWR).
This 3 day course is also available as a blended learning course (learn life saving skills in the comfort of your own home prior to the face to face sessions)

FIRST AID AT WORK / Life Saving Skills
This is a 'basic' entry level first aid course , teaching fundamental life saving skills, and is aimed or for those working in a low risk environment . This 1 day course uses a syllabus laid out by the HSE.
As with the 3 day First Aid at Work, the qualification lasts 3 years and can also be completed as a blended learning course.
On this course you will cover topics including:
- The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR and defibrillation
- Recovery Position
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries
