Emergency First Aid At Work (EFAW)
This is a 'basic' entry level first aid course , teaching fundamental life saving skills, and is aimed or for those working in a low risk environment . This 1 day course uses a syllabus laid out by the HSE.
Duration: Minimum 6 hours training
Valid : 3 Years
Maximum Candidates: 12
This 1 day course is also available as a blended learning course option where the candidate will complete a 2.5 hour online module prior to a 4 hour (minimum) Face to Face session
On this course you will cover topics including:
- The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR and defibrillation
- Recovery Position
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds and bleeding
- Minor injuries including cuts, grazes, bruises, minor burns and scalds
FIRST AID AT WORK (FAW)
This is the advanced/comprehensive 3 day 'face to face' First Aid at Work course with the syllabus set down by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). This is a nationally and accredited Level 3 course and is valid for 3 years.
Duration: Minimum 18 hours training
Valid : 3 Years
Maximum Candidates: 12
This 3 day course is also available as a blended learning course (learn life saving skills in the comfort of your own home prior to the face to face sessions)

FIRST AID AT WORK Requalifier (FAWR)
This requalifier is for those who have completed a full 3 day FAW and are still within the current qualification expiry date.
This allows them to complete a 2 day course either as a Face to Face or a Blended learning option.
Duration: Minimum 12 hours training
Valid : 3 Years
Maximum Candidates: 12
This 2 day course is also available as a blended learning course option where the candidate will complete a 6 hour online module prior to a 6 hour (minimum) Face to Face session
